Charleville Agricultural Show will regrettably not run in 2020 in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is with deep regret that I have to tell you that the Charleville Agricultural Show will not run in 2020 - the COVID-19 outbreak has taken over our lives. It is our responsibility now to look after ourselves and our communities and obey the directions set out to protect us all.
I want to thank all those who make up the show, the exhibitors, the sponsors, the visitors to the show, the judges, the stewards and all of the volunteers, no matter what way you help us. Thank you to our landowners for the use of their land. Thank you to the Gardaí, doctors and veterinary surgeons and all those in Cork County Council who contribute in many ways to enable the show to run smoothly.
All of the members of the Show Committee, who give so much of their time to ensure that the show is a success year on year, made this tough decision after much consideration. We are now focused on the future, for the 26th and 27th June 2021, subject to planning permission, for the next Charleville Agricultural Show and we are working already to see that this happens and is a success.
