To be ridden side-saddle by riders who have attained their 16th Birthday by 01/01/2022
Aim: To promote, present and preserve the art of side-saddle riding.
The top three horse and rider combinations at each of the qualifiers will be eligible to enter and compete at the 2022 Dublin Horse Show.
The rider’s ability and turnout, and the way of going, manners,conformation and movement of the horse will be considered as part of the adjudication.
Riders who have attained their 16th birthday by 1 January 2022 and are entered in the Intermediate Side-Saddle, may also compete in this class provided they are eligible and have qualified.
Horse and rider combinations who are entered in the Ladies’
Side-Saddle, are not eligible to compete in the Intermediate Side-Saddle.
