RULES AND CONDITIONS

  1. Each exhibit must consist of Three items from the list below:
    (A)    Any piece of handcraft excluding Knitting, Crochet & Embroidery. ( Max size 15” x 15”) 
    (B)    Hall Table Arrangement (Not larger than 20” x 20”)
    (C)    Decorated Fruit  (1 piece of fruit)
    (D)    4 plain Chocolate Brownies (size 3”x3” square). 
  2. In the event of a signed and written objection and following an investigation, and if the exhibitor is deemed to be making their living from their profession, they may be disqualified.
  3. Two exhibits to qualify from each qualifying show.
  4. This competition will be judged on a points system.
  5. Points will be awarded for presentation.
  6. The judge’s decision is final for all stages of the competition
  7. Exhibits are displayed at owners risk
  8. An exhibitor can only qualify one exhibit for the All-Ireland final.

Exhibits to be in place before 11.30am on day of final
Entry fee:   To qualifying Show €3.   To final €6

No entries permitted on day of event.

  • All entries should be new and the work of the competitor.
  • Exhibitors awarded 1st prize in the Art and Crafts section for two consecutive years are not eligible to enter for 2 years.
  • Exhibits previously awarded prizes at Charleville Agricultural Show are not eligible to exhibit again for 1 year.
  • At least three exhibitors must be entered in each class; otherwise the class will be cancelled.
  • The Diesenvale Perpetual Cup is presented for the most points in this section.
  • This section is sponsored by Lee’s Centra Group, Charleville.
  • Exhibits will be accepted in the showgrounds on Friday 27th between 5.00pm – 7.00pm. Entry fee €3.
  • Judging will take place betwee 7-9pm Friday Night.
  • Exhibits are not to be removed on Sunday evening before 5.30pm.
  • Charleville Show will not be held responsible for exhibits after 7.00pm.
