This class is funded by the Breeding Grant Initiative, under National Breeding Services with thanks to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and delivered by Horse Sport Ireland.
WILL COMMENCE AT APPROXIMATELY 13.30
All horses entering classes/in receipt of funds must be studbook registered with a specific breed documented within their studbook passport.
The horse must be registered in the correct ownership to be in receipt of prize funds.
The breed must be included in the returned show report.
This can include main section studbook equines OR supplementary section studbook equines.
Breeder’s prizes will only be paid to breeders residing on the Island of Ireland
This class is open to mares with or without foal at foot.
Passports must be available for inspection on the day.
The judge, who will not judge any other class on the day, will be looking for a broodmare likely to produce a high-performance horse.
PRIZES: 1st €520; 2nd €315; 3rd €215; 4th €140; 5th €110.
A prize of €150 will be paid to the breeder of the highest placed broodmare that is not the owner of one of the prizewinners.
PRIZES WILL BE PAID OUT AFTER THE SHOW
Prize winners must submit full payment details via the linked payment form within 14 days of the competition or they will not receive prize money.
Horse Sport Ireland have provided shows with a ‘success letter’ which will be provided to prize winners on the day and may be collected from the Secretary or the Steward in the ring.
Please note entries close on Wednesday 18th June. All entries after this incur €20 extra per entry. Entry cut-off midnight Sunday 22nd June. No late entries accepted after this. NO SHOWING CLASS ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY!
